INTEGRIERTES SPIEL AM KLAVIER
Der Kurs mit Paul Gulda wird sich auf konkreter Ebene selbstverständlich mit den Anforderungen der Praxis beim Spielen und Üben befassen:
Stilistik, Rhythmus, Handhaltung, Fingersätze und ähnliche Details werden präzise und gerne besprochen.
Dahinter soll aber das eigentliche Ziel des Musizierens sichtbar und spürbar werden: eine möglichst vollständige Integration der eigenen Voraussetzungen an Wissen, Können, Persönlichkeit, Seele und physischer Existenz. Übungen zu Atem, Bewegungsablauf und Körperhaltung ergänzen, vielmehr komplettieren erst die Schulung der kognitiven Fähigkeiten. Rhythmus, Gesang und Improvisation sind integrierter Teil des Kurszieles. Als Ideal wird der Ausdruck des ganzen Menschen angestrebt, welcher wiederum im Zuhörer den ganzen Menschen anspricht.

Der Workshop endet mit dem Abschlusskonzert der Workshopteilnehmer am Dienstag, 23. Juli, um 18.00 Uhr im Freskensaal!

TOTAL INTEGRATION AT THE PIANO
During the course  Paul Gulda will readily deal with all practical aspects of piano playing, such as style, phrasing, rhythm, technical detail, fingerings...
but the broader aim of the course is to reach for something beyond these details. The total integration of the given endowments of the individual: knowledge, ability, personality, body and soul.
Breath, use of the body, posture contribute to the actual playing just as much as, or even more than the mere training of the apparatus.
The course will give room to rhythm, song and improvisation, in order to appeal to the integrated existence of the player, and, consequently, the listener.

The workshop ends with the final concert of the participants on Thursday, July 23, at 6 p.m. at the concert hall "Freskensaal".

AUFNAHMEBEDINGUNGEN. Die Teilnahme an den einzelnen Kursen ist ab dem 15. Lebensjahr möglich.
CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION People over the age of 15 are allowed to participate in courses.

ANMELDUNG. Die Anmeldung erlangt durch Überweisung der Anmeldegebühr von € 50,- ihre Gültigkeit. Sie ist bis spätestens 26. Juni 2013 mittels Erlagschein oder Euro-Überweisung auf das Konto des Musikforum, BLZ 17000, BKS (Bank für Kärnten und Steiermark), Konto-Nr.: 116001039, IBAN: AT381700000116001039, Swift-Nr. BIC: BFKKAT2K, mit dem Zusatz „Spesenfrei für den Empfänger“ einzuzahlen. Im Falle einer Nichtteilnahme wird die Anmeldegebühr einbehalten. Die restliche Kursgebühr ist bei der Inskription in bar zu bezahlen.

The rest of the course fee has to be paid on enrolment in cash. The application fee will not be refunded if an applicant is unable to take part.

INSKRIPTION. Sonntag, 14.7.2013, 9.00-11.00 Uhr, im Sekretariat des MUSIKFORUM. Im Rahmen der Inskription erhalten Sie auch alle wichtigen Informationen über den detaillierten Ablauf des Kurses.
ENROLMENT. Sunday, July 14th, 9 - 11 a.m. at MUSIKFORUM office, Stift Viktring. The workshop begins at 11.30 a.m. The participants will receive all necessary information about their course on enrolment.

UNTERKUNFT. Bei rechtzeitiger Anmeldung stellt Ihnen das Sekretariat gerne Adressen von Hotels und privaten Pensionen in der Umgebung des Stiftes zur Verfügung.
ACCOMODATION. If you register in a timely manner, the office will gladly provide you with hotel and private B&B addresses in the surrounding area of the course location.

ÜBUNGSRÄUME. Das weiträumige Stift bietet ausreichende Übungsräume an.
REHEARSAL ROOMS. The monastery provides an extensive number of rehearsal rooms.
